Amanda Barag, Master’s of Counseling Intern

she/her/hers

My goal as a therapist is to walk alongside clients as they navigate the complexities of life, offering a space where they feel seen, heard, and supported. I believe healing happens in relationship, and I strive to build a therapeutic connection rooted in trust, authenticity, and compassion. Whether you're processing past wounds, managing current stressors, or working toward future goals, my aim is to help you move toward greater clarity, self-understanding, and empowerment.

I am especially drawn to working with adolescents and adults dealing with complex trauma, chronic illness/pain, and relational difficulties. I am committed to providing a supportive and nonjudgemental space where you can explore your experiences and work toward healing and rediscovering joy.

I graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Finance, and I am currently earning a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University.

In my free time, I enjoy getting lost in a good book, doing Pilates, walking my dog, Lola, and spending quality time with friends and family.
