If you’re here, you’ve spent years trying to be who everyone else needed you to be; perfect, put-together, always giving, always too much, and never enough. Somewhere along the way, guilt, grief, and other people’s expectations started to feel louder than your own voice. You began to wonder: Do I even know who I am anymore?
Together, we slow things down and start mapping out the invisible rules, perfectionistic standards, and people-pleasing patterns that have shaped your expectations for yourself. From there, we gently challenge what no longer serves you and practice new ways of being that feel more aligned with who you really are.
I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all, so I tailor my approach to your unique needs, goals, and experiences. I use Narrative Therapy to help you examine and reshape the stories and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck. I also draw from DBT, RO-DBT, and IFS to help you regulate emotions, navigate life with greater confidence and flexibility, and better understand the different “parts” of yourself.
I work with both couples and individuals across diverse identities and life stages. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the entertainment industry for 18 years. I deeply understand the struggles of creatives and overachievers who feel like they’re always performing and never quite enough. Many of my clients come in feeling overwhelmed from navigating multiple roles, expectations, and cultural messages about who they’re “supposed” to be. I also support adults with ADHD, helping them better understand their unique brain, develop practical strategies for daily life, and build on their strengths. Typically, my clients are ready to stop living by other people’s rules and start building a life that aligns with their values, identity, and truth. If you’re ready for that kind of shift, I’m here to help.
I received my Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University. I practice under the supervision of Nina Wolverton, LMFT, LPC, CPCS.
